I qualified as a podiatrist from the University of Johannesburg (Bachelors of Technology in Podiatry 2013).
I started my own private practice within a multi-disciplinary medical centre in the Vaal.
Furthermore I served as a locum at the University of Johannesburg, where I also gained managerial experience whilst
supervising trainee podiatrists at various State hospitals. In addition, I have worked at different CDE Centres in
the Vaal region and closely with various specialists (vascular and orthopaedic surgeons) which allowed me to expand my
knowledge on diabetes and diabetic foot and wound care management.
Practicing as an athlete consultant for Puma - I have a keen interest in sports, and regularly provide
podiatric services, education and assistance to sportsmen of all ages, from novice to professional.
I am a member of the Podiatry Association of South African (PASA), registered with the Health Professionals
Council of South Africa (HPCSA No: CH0005070) and The Board of Health Care Funders of South Africa (PR No: 0516635)
Being committed to on-going research and training, I keep up-to-date with the latest professional developments,
diagnostic and treatment trends in the podiatric world.
